Kids are always fascinated by the glamour of media and highly attracted to it. We believe that this glamorous tool can be best used with 'Participatory Approach'; instead of kids just being the passive consumers. The core of our project is - kids run the media completely on their own, and learn on their own various skills like - Communication skills, Presentation skills, Management skills, Creative Conceptualisation, Production and explore their abilities with boosting confidence and being a responsible communicator.

 

WeKids Radio is our flagship in which students conceptualize various shows under various categories viz. Interview, Radio Drama, Film Review, Book Review, DIY, Advertisements, News etc. They write their scripts referring to books, newspaper, internet or just a brainstorming session with friends; they practice with voice modulation, present it on the microphone with sound effects and music and its ready to go to the WeKids Network web portal. In this process kids take our help to understand various concepts and techniques, they take inputs from teachers and parents about the topic they have selected, they take the sincere interest in making their show the best as to impress the world.

In these 12 years, the project was very well received by parents, educators and educational institutions.
